How to record a payment

Once you receive the payment for your invoice, you can record the payment through the following steps:

  1. Click Sales in the left navigation of your screen.
  2. Click on Invoice.
  3. Find the invoice you want to record the payment, and click the dropdown arrow button to the right of that invoice. Select Record Payment from the drop-down menu.
  4. A window will appear for you to enter the payment details.
  5. Click SaveĀ when done.
